    Action Steps

    1. Identify Departments within the county that need COOP plans and provide technical assistance to ensure completion.
    2. Send a member of OHSEM staff to COOP training in order for them to be able to assist departments successfully complete a COOP plan.
    3. Continue working with departments to identify training necessary for their COOP planner.
    4. Encourage that each department to revise their COOP plan when capabilities or critical tasks change for their department.

    Why is this measure important?

    In the event that departments have to move place of business from their current location to another location and still maintain their essential functions, they need to have a plan that outlines this process.

    Where does the data come from?

    Information is reported on a excel spreadsheet retained by OHSEM when the departments submit or revise plans.

    How is the measure calculated?

    Dividing the total project number of targeted departments requiring plans against the actual plans on file at OHSEM
