    Measure Overview

    Implement and develop processes in the Traffic Citation System (TraCS). Working in conjunction with the City of Albuquerque (CoA) to eliminate the manual process of printing police reports and hand delivering to Albuquerque Police Department (APD) for manual entry into the current system. This new process will provide efficiencies in both departments.

    Action Steps

    1. Bernalillo County Sheriff Office (BCSO) is in the process of implementing TraCS (Traffic Citations System).

    2. BCSO will create/review system reports in TraCS

    3. CoA to implement TraCS

    4. Discussions will take place to determine what needs to be done to capture the BCSO reports electronically.

    5. CoA will write the program to allow both agencies to submit reports electronically.

    6. Implement paperless report (office incident reports)

    7. Update SOP to include new processes
