Why is this measure important?

This measure is important because it tracks the rate at which youth make court appearances as wall as track re-offense rates while the youths case is pending court sentencing. Supervision of these youth in the community by YSC's Community Custody Program helps increase public safety.

# of youth successfully completing program divided by the total youth exiting the  program

Additional Information

The Community Custody Program provides supervision for youth alleged to have committed a delinquent act. The program averages 30 days and youth are monitored and supported in the community while the youth’s case moves through the court process up to disposition (sentencing).
