This measure looks at the ratio of new CO hires to the number of leads generated from recruiting marketing resources.  Measures how efficient we use marketing resources to generate leads. The higher the number of COs hired per leads obtained, the more efficient our recruiting efforts are.  Due to COVID-19 the department has had to rely on less on face-to-face type marketing efforts. Have adapted to recruiting virtually.  They are utilizing the Workforce Solutions platform - it’s free and promotes the department (community events, information sessions, email marketing, recruitment efforts on Facebook, Instagram).  Because of COVID-19 all prescreen and hiring interviews are now telephonic.
    
Explanation of lead generation – a function of marketing resources. Incudes recruiters, email marketing, advertising, commercial website - www.mdcrecruiting.com, career fairs, hiring events, Facebook, Leads are tracked internally and self-reported. A lead is someone who expresses interest in employment as a CO with MDC.

FY21  Q2 - The results are for two (2) academy classes instead of the planned three (3). Because of COVID-19 one academy was rescheduled. Total 37 starts on 694 leads for the quarter
