Why is this measure important?

Election law requires commission approval of the ballot by a certain number of days before the election. General obligation bond measures are individuals ballot question. This performance measure ensures the commission does its duty so that the County Clerk can prepare, finalize, and print the general election ballot to meet all voting and election requirements.
