What do we do?

  • Accepts property tax payments from constituents in various forms such as Automated Clearing House (ACH), monthly, online, and drop off locations
  • Payment plan option to help the public needs such as seniors, fixed income, delinquent and partial payment accounts

CUSTOMER SERVICE/CASHIERING

  • Provide customer service by answering taxpayer inquiries in a timely manner via online or by telephone

DELINQUENCY

  • Proactive tax collections on overdue property taxes, to assist taxpayers and provide revenues of any late charges to remain with the county
  • Properly protect and secure tax collections on manufactured homes, personal property and bankruptcy

PROGRAM SUPPORT - ADMINISTRATION

  • Safe-keeping of public money and investments
  • Meet all state laws and county charter for the Treasurer’s Office
  • Provide operational standards and policies

SPECIAL ACCOUNTS

  • Tax researchers
  • Tax adjustments
  • Work with Assessor on protested properties to refund property taxes
  • Annual tax bill (e-billing)
