    BernCo Announces New Convenient MDC Commissary Deposit Services

    Bernalillo County Commissioners recently approved a new agreement with the Keefe Commissary Group for the commissary and deposit services for the Metropolitan Detention Center.

    Two Officers and One Inmate Test Positive for COVID-19 at Metropolitan Detention Center

    Three new positive cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been identified at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). On June 20, an MDC officer, working in the facility, tested positive for COVID-19. The officer, tested June 18, received positive test results June 20. The officer had no symptoms and was sent home to self-quarantine.
