HAWK Crosswalk in S. Valley Makes Crossing Isleta Easy & Safe

The county's Public Works Division has installed a new high-tech crosswalk in the South Valley to make it safer for kids and other pedestrians to cross Isleta Boulevard near McEwen Court. The High-intensity Activated crosswalk (HAWK) signal and crosswalk is the first of its kind in Bernalillo County and the metro area.
