Sunport Boulevard Extension & Interchange Project

Project Scope:

The purpose of this project is to connect Broadway and I-25 at the existing Sunport Blvd. Interchange and close this gap in the area’s transportation network, and address other transportation and access needs in this area.

Intersection Mill and Inlay: Northbound Ramps & Sunport Blvd.

On Monday, Aug. 10, milling of the I-25 northbound off & on ramps, eastbound Sunport, and westbound Sunport will begin. Traffic patterns will change as the work progresses and lanes are shifted to provided access through the work zone. The milling is expected to take two days and will then be followed with the placement of the final surfacing.
