Barcelona Road Storm Drain Project Phase 1

Project Scope

The Barcelona Road Storm Drain Project is a tributary of the South Valley Flood Reduction Project. This project consisted of road and drainage improvements for Barcelona Road from the Armijo Drain to the Isleta Drain. The constructed drainage improvements capture runoff and connect to the Armijo Drain. Roadway improvements consist of bicycle lanes, and curb and gutter. In addition, sidewalk was constructed on the north side of Barcelona and in front of Barcelona Elementary.

Phase 1 construction began in December of 2017 and was completed in August 2018.
TLC Plumbing and Utility was the Contractor.
